As darkness falls and our eyes adjust, millions of stars and a stunning range of constellations light up the sky. If road conditions allow, we’ll start the evening by watching the sunset from Kunanyi / Mount Wellington, soaking in breathtaking views.

Afterwards, we’ll spend about 1.5 hours under the vast Tasmanian night sky. You’ll use telescopes and binoculars to explore distant galaxies and discover the wonders above. With a bit of luck, we might even witness the awe-inspiring Aurora Australis—the elusive southern lights.

Please note: The Aurora is a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
